| Skills | After completion of this course, students should be comfortable with the vocabulary of shader writing, the creation Houdini VEX constant, diffuse and specular surface shaders with texture and parameter mapping, VEX displacement shader with companion VEX SOP surface geometry deformations, and techniques to control shader parameters with Houdini attributes. Teaches skill sought by employers seeking qualified visual effects artists and technical directors. |
