(This is not a course in Linux setup or administration.) Uses extensive examples from feature film production. |
| Skills | After completion of this course, students should be comfortable with the Linux shell, be able to navigate a job system directory structure, edit files, create custom aliases and environmental variables, describe a large production job system and create simple text files with the PERL programming language. This course will expose the students to new techniques and enable them to further study the subject on their own. |
