With the introduction of Houdini 9.1, Side Effects Software has introduced many fantastic tools and features, plus a great development
to the speed and interaction of the Houdini interface.
Vizy Acky is currently working to transition all the existing courses to the new interface.
Over 95% of all the content of Vizy Acky Online Courses created under Houdini 8.2 is compatible with the new Houdini interface.
Most GUI features work exactly the same at the operator level. Several methods of working need to be adjusted. I've found after working with the new interface for several months, the advantages and features are great.
This transition has not been without its difficulties. The release of Houdini 9.1 addressed many adjustments needed to the new GUI.
Side Effects has helped the transition by providing many great tutorials on how to take advantage of the new features.
Vizy Acky has also started to release new tutorials on making the transition to the new interface and tools.
Again, Side Effects has taken the lead in creating cutting edge new features and methods of working. This is why I enjoy working with this software so much!
